MARCH
NEWS 2008
The Golf season is upon us!
Group Lessons will be conducted by me in April on Thursday mornings from
10:00 to 11:00 and Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 (4/3,4/10,4/17, 4/24).
The series offers more individual attention as the maximum of people per
class is 6 this year.
If Saturday is better for you, I have lessons scheduled starting 4/5, 4/12,
4/19 and /4/26 from 1:00 until 2:00pm. Again, only 6 per class.
There will be classes in May also, and we will have that schedule out to you
as soon as possible.
The four lessons cover the basics to get everyone off to a good start for
the season. Sometimes a slight change in your swing can make a very big
difference to your entire game and make it so much more enjoyable.
If you can’t commit to 4 lessons, why not consider Saturday morning at 9:00
for my Drop-In Class. You don’t have to sign up, just come out.
Some exciting trips are planned for this year and into January/February.
Rowena’s Inn at the Sandpiper Golf Course is the first event which
will include lots of instruction including on course instruction. This event
takes place July 19 – 21st. Read more about it
here.
In October, I will be accompanying golfers to Provence for an 8 day Golf
and Wine Tour where we will enjoy Wine Tastings as well as three days of
golf.
More details here.
Due to the tremendous success of the 3 day Seminar including on course
instruction in Palm Springs at the Doral Desert Princess Resort, we
will be offering the same event in late January, 2009. More details
here.
More exciting things to come at the TAKaya Golf Centre. We are in the
process of installing 8 terminals which will be able to measure the exact
distance your ball travels as well as the speed of the ball and the
trajectory . This will be very helpful for you in figuring out which club to
use for various distances when you play. Many times, we only guess how far
our ball travels on average with each club. With the new “Hard Drive”
system, you can actually get a print out of the distances.
There are more exciting changes coming to TAKaya which will help you with
your entire game. These changes will be announced in the next week or two.
I will be offering seminars to help with all aspects of the game and these
will be posted at TAKaya as well as on my website.
Let me know if you have any special requests such as golf instruction for
your clients or co-workers. This can be a great way to give back to your
clients and get to know them better.
See you at the Range!
